Plant Select is a global breeder and supplier of in vitro young plants and finished plants. Founded in 1991, Plant Select has grown from a small bamboo nursery into an international plant supplier. Today, the family business consists of a diverse and young team and is led by mother and daughter, Chantal Quirynen and Luka Snels.
Plant select
Plant Select specialises in Fargesia and Hydrangea, grown in our state of the art in vitro laboratory in Belgium. Our assortment also includes ornamental grasses and Sarcococca, perfectly suited for the market of compact pot sizes. As both grower and breeder, we hold 16 licenses, ensuring high quality and innovative plant varieties. In 2023, we quadrupled our lab capacity, resulting in tailored R&D and production services for our customers. At Plant Select we go beyond a traditional nursery. Our mission is: ‘Creating Future Plants’ for our customers.
In 2025, Plant Select received the prestigious ‘International Grower of the Year’ award in the young plants category, awarded by AIPH.
